About the Featured Speaker
Oleksandr Pavlyk is a senior kernel developer at Wolfram
Research. He works in the area of symbolic calculus, specializing in
numeric and symbolic support of special functions. Pavlyk received his
PhD in physics from Penn State University in the United States, and
did undergraduate studies in National Taras Shevchenko University of
Kiev in Ukraine. Pavlyk has given a number of Mathematica
presentations in the United States, and was the main lecturer for the
Wolfram Research Tour of Russia and
Ukraine.
